Description

You will design, build, and support enterprise financial data and modeling solutions on the AWS cloud platform, integrating with enterprise-grade systems for the actuarial and finance community.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain serverless applications and data pipelines using AWS CDK, Lambda, and DynamoDB.
• Build and optimize full-stack web interfaces using React and Next.js.
• Implement DevOps practices, including CI/CD pipelines, test-driven development, and version control with Git/GitHub Actions.
• Manage data storage and processing using S3, Glue, and traditional/NOSQL databases.
• Write and interpret SQL queries to support data modeling and analysis.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software engineering experience.
• Proficiency with AWS services: CDK, Lambda, DynamoDB, S3, Glue.
• Strong TypeScript and JavaScript skills.
• Experience with React and Next.js for full-stack development.
• Knowledge of database applications, SQL, and data models.
• Familiarity with Agile environments and DevOps/CI/CD practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Math, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Skills

• Basic understanding of insurance and financial services products.
• Ability to obtain IT-related certifications.
