Description

You will support the design, deployment, and maintenance of AWS cloud infrastructure for actuarial and insurance applications within a regulated financial services environment.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Support senior engineers in building Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor AWS resources and troubleshoot performance or access issues to meet SLAs.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows for internal applications and automation.
• Contribute to documentation for audits, incident reviews, and regulatory compliance.
• Collaborate with security and risk teams to enforce tagging, access controls, and resource standards.

Required Skills

• 2+ years of professional experience in AWS cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Foundational knowledge of core AWS services.
• Experience with Linux or Windows servers in secure environments.
• Proficiency with scripting languages including Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of networking concepts such as VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and DNS.
• Experience using Git or similar version control tools.
• Technical competency with AWS, Linux, Windows, Python, Bash, Powershell, Vpcs, Subnets, Routing, and Firewalls.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Terraform, CloudFormation, or other IaC technologies.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts, pipeline automation, Docker, or serverless architecture.
• Background in .NET / Windows application development in a DevOps capacity.
