Description

You will design, deploy, and maintain AWS cloud infrastructure for critical actuarial and insurance applications.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Implement and maintain AWS services (EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, Lambda) supporting actuarial tools, customer portals, and data platforms.
• Support senior engineers in building Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Monitor AWS resources and troubleshoot performance and access issues aligned with SLAs.
• Participate in CI/CD workflows for internal applications and automation.
• Collaborate with security, risk, and compliance teams to enforce tagging, access controls, and resource standards.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in AWS cloud engineering or DevOps.
• Foundational understanding of core AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, VPC, RDS, and Lambda.
• Experience with Git or similar version control tools.
• Familiarity with scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Understanding of networking concepts including VPCs, subnets, routing, firewalls, and DNS.
• Basic experience with Linux or Windows servers in secure environments.

Preferred Skills

• Exposure to Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD concepts and pipeline automation.
• Basic knowledge of containerization (Docker) or serverless architecture.
