Description

You will design, build, and support resilient, secure, and high-performing platforms within the AWS public cloud environment. You will own the release pipeline, optimize system performance, and manage cloud costs through effective platform design.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement web environments using AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, and EKS.
• Automate routine tasks and provide primary operational support and engineering for the cloud platform.
• Drive applications to meet strict non-functional requirements for public cloud onboarding.
• Execute resiliency tests, chaos engineering exercises, and organized game days.
• Manage high-volume, mission-critical applications and event-driven architectures.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in a technical development or lead role.
• AWS Solutions Architect Associate or Professional certification is required.
• Expertise with AWS services: EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, CloudWatch, EKS, and ECS.
• Proficiency in programming languages: Java, Python, SQL, Node, Go, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with DevOps tools: Ansible, Artifactory, GitHub, Jenkins, Maven, and SonarQube.
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure-as-Code using CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Experience with monitoring solutions such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, Datadog, or Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Open Source RDBMS and NoSQL databases.
