Description

You will own the infrastructure lifecycle, developer tooling, and deployment pipelines for AWS-based microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage environment lifecycles and provision infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure as Code principles.
• Develop and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure, application deployments, and database changes.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to containerize microservices applications using Kubernetes and Docker.
• Implement application monitoring and logging using ELK and Log Insights.
• Use Backstage as a unified portal to provide developer self-service for infrastructure tooling and services.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering roles.
• Proficiency with AWS services including EC2, RDS, ECS, IAM, and Fargate.
• Hands-on experience with AWS EKS, Kubernetes, Docker, and Karpenter.
• Expertise in Terraform, including Terraform Cloud and Terraform Enterprise.
• Experience managing networking components such as VPC, Gateways, Subnets, and Routing.
• Practical knowledge of Ansible playbooks.
• Experience with GitLab and CI/CD pipeline construction.
• Competency in NodeJS, NPM, React, Yarn, and YAML.
• Ability to securely handle sensitive data within Terraform code.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Backstage or Harmonix for developer self-service portals.
