Description

You will manage infrastructure tooling and developer services through a unified Backstage portal, focusing on IaC, CI/CD, and containerized microservices.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage environment lifecycles and provision infrastructure using Terraform and the Backstage self-service portal.
• Build and maintain DevOps CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure provisioning, application deployment, and database changes.
• Implement application monitoring and logging solutions using ELK and Log Insights.
• Collaborate with cloud engineers to containerize microservices applications.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering.
• AWS expertise including EC2, RDS, ECS, IAM, and Fargate.
• Kubernetes management using AWS EKS, Docker, and Karpenter.
• Advanced Terraform skills, including Terraform Cloud/Enterprise and secure handling of sensitive data.
• Ansible playbook development.
• Networking configuration including VPC, Gateways, Subnets, and Routing.
• GitLab for CI/CD pipelines.
• NodeJS, NPM, React, and Yarn.
• Backstage and Harmonix for developer self-service, including YAML template creation.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with infrastructure tooling and services via Backstage.
