You will design, develop, and configure cloud systems aligned with architectural standards and business requirements.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Develop APIs using AWS services within a scalable microservices architecture.
• Design technology solutions and assess whether standard platform functionality or custom solutions are required.
• Manage system deployments while ensuring compliance with HIPAA, SOC2, and ISO27001 security standards.
• Identify performance deficiencies and execute system changes to maintain data integrity and storage requirements.
• Document detailed technical specifications and system configurations using markdown and Antora.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud engineering or related roles.
• Extensive experience with AWS services, specifically serverless architectures (S3, RDS, Lambda, IAM, API Gateway).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Strong programming and scripting skills in Python and PowerShell.
• Expertise with Git and version control systems like GitLab or GitHub.
• Experience managing CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar tools.
• Hands-on experience with data formats including JSON and XML.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, ELK, Dynatrace, or Prometheus.
• Knowledge of SDLC methodologies including Waterfall and Agile.

Preferred Skills

• Previous experience in Healthcare or Medical Device sectors, including working with HL7v2, FHIR, or DICOM.
• Experience building Software as a Medical Device (SaMD) or working with EHR technologies like Epic and Cerner.
