Description

You will design and execute large-scale migrations of terabytes to petabytes of data from on-premises environments to AWS, ensuring high availability and fault tolerance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Migrate and manage large-scale data storage using AWS DataSync, S3 replication, lifecycle policies, and versioning.
• Architect high-availability, fault-tolerant cloud solutions with a focus on bandwidth optimization and networking (VPN, Direct Connect).
• Implement Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation and Terraform to automate deployment and management.
• Enforce security best practices, including IAM policies and KMS encryption, across all AWS resources.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in cloud engineering, including at least 4 years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Proven track record of migrating massive datasets (terabytes to petabytes) from on-premises to cloud.
• Deep expertise in AWS S3 features, including replication, lifecycle policies, versioning, and encryption.
• Strong understanding of AWS networking, including VPN, Direct Connect, and bandwidth optimization strategies.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically CloudFormation and Terraform.
• Solid grasp of AWS security fundamentals, including IAM, KMS, and security best practices.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with AWS SageMaker for large-scale data operations.
• Ability to architect solutions rather than just operate them.
