Description

Lead public cloud migrations of complex systems and manage end-to-end platform issues on AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Execute software design, development, and technical troubleshooting to build scalable solutions.
• Own end-to-end platform issues and provide solutions for AWS Cloud build and performance.
• Drive the strategy for utilizing AWS services including EC2, S3, RDS, CloudFront, EKS, ECS, and DynamoDB.
• Automate routine tasks and provide operational support for the public cloud platform.
• Drive game days, resiliency tests, and chaos engineering exercises.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in software engineering roles.
• Proficiency in Java (Version 8+), Python, Go, or Scala.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services: EC2, ALB, NLB, Aurora Postgres, DynamoDB, EKS, ECS Fargate, S3, and Route53.
• Experience with container orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong background in DevOps practices, including Jenkins, Ansible, and configuration management.
• Experience with RESTful microservices and Spring Boot.
• Knowledge of SQL, Open Source RDBMS, and NoSQL databases.
• Competency with GitHub, Artifactory, and CI/CD pipelines.
