Description

You will focus on data modernization using cloud solutions on AWS to design, implement, and manage infrastructure that meets specific technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable, secure AWS solutions tailored to customer needs.
• Develop, test, debug, and deliver AWS ETL jobs and high-volume data pipelines.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and propose modernization strategies.
• Identify architectural risks and implement mitigation plans.
• Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support throughout the project lifecycle.
• Modernize applications through refactoring, migration, and cloud-native development.

Required Skills

• Proficiency with AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, Lambda, ECS, EKS, RDS, API Gateway, Glue Crawler, and Athena.
• Experience with application modernization, including refactoring and cloud-native development.
• Knowledge of modern database technologies and migration strategies.
• Experience building AWS ETL jobs and data pipelines for high volumes of data.
• Hands-on experience with DevOps practices and automation tools.
• Proven ability to work with cross-functional teams, including developers and business analysts.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with data analytics and BI solutions such as Power BI or AWS QuickSight.
• AWS Certification.
• State Government experience.
