Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure-as-Code practices (Terraform/CloudFormation).
• Develop and maintain automation and CI/CD pipelines to accelerate delivery and improve reliability.
• Administer and troubleshoot Linux and Windows hosts, container platforms (Docker, Kubernetes), and hybrid environments.
• Collaborate with security and compliance teams to implement best practices for SOC 2 / ISO 27001 controls.
• Provide operational support, root-cause analysis, and continuous improvement for production systems.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of hands-on experience as an AWS Cloud Engineer or similar cloud infrastructure role with broad knowledge of compute, storage, networking, and security services.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, Bash and/or PowerShell; experience building automation to reduce manual toil.
• Strong experience with Linux and Windows administration and troubleshooting in production environments.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration: Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical experience with IaC tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation and CI/CD tools and pipelines.
• Familiarity with security best practices and compliance frameworks (SOC 2, ISO 27001) and VMware or other virtualization platforms is a plus.
• AWS certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) are highly desirable. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills are essential
