Description

You will architect and implement secure cloud solutions within AWS GovCloud for government clients.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deploy infrastructure using Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Configure AWS services including EC2, S3, IAM, Lambda, RDS, and VPCs.
• Ensure compliance with FedRAMP, NIST, and federal security standards through encryption and logging.
• Automate CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to maintain high availability.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience specifically within AWS GovCloud (US).
• Expertise in AWS security frameworks and IAM policy management.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools: Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible.
• Scripting and automation using Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
• Solid understanding of networking concepts including VPC, VPN, Direct Connect, and security groups.
• Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, ELK Stack, or Splunk.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certifications (Solutions Architect or DevOps Engineer).
• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker or Kubernetes.
• Previous experience working with U.S. government agencies or contracts.
