Description

You will architect and manage cloud infrastructure supporting healthcare and life sciences operations on AWS and VMware environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable, secure cloud infrastructure in native AWS and VMware-hosted environments.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code standards using Terraform or CloudFormation for repeatable deployments.
• Collaborate with development, security, and FinOps teams to automate provisioning and define requirements.
• Enforce infrastructure compliance with HIPAA and other healthcare regulations.
• Design for cost optimization through resource tagging standards and cloud governance best practices.

Required Skills

• Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in AWS infrastructure design, implementation, and management.
• Proficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code tools including Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Practical knowledge of HIPAA and healthcare compliance requirements.
• Strong understanding of FinOps principles and cloud cost optimization.
• Solid grasp of CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and networking concepts.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent professional experience.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Google Cloud Professional Architect certifications.
• Experience with Azure or Google Cloud platforms.
