Description

You will own the UEA platform architecture and operations as an individual contributor.

Responsibilities

• Own platform infrastructure, driving optimizations, expansion, and scaling.
• Lead and support development teams regarding infrastructure, pipelines, and optimization.
• Work directly with Data and Science teams to deliver search platform requirements.
• Manage all platform infrastructure independently to meet delivery deadlines.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud environments.
• Strong expertise in AWS and Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Proficiency in Python and FastAPI for advanced programming tasks.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s).
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and system design.
• Kafka and Microservices architectures.
• Monitoring and logging tools including Grafana and Splunk.
• ETL, Springboot, and Open Source technologies.
• Ability to work independently within cross-functional technical groups.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of ArgoFlow.
• Experience with Vespa or VaaS.
