Description

Design and lead end-to-end AWS infrastructure solutions, focusing on multi-account landing zones, migrations, and Kubernetes platform engineering.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Architect scalable, secure multi-account landing zones, VPCs, and enterprise networking strategies using AWS Well-Architected Framework.
• Lead complex on-premises and intra-AWS migrations, including VPC redesigns, account realignments, and transitions to AWS Dedicated Hosts.
• Design and manage large-scale, multi-cluster Kubernetes environments (EKS and self-managed) with enterprise-grade reliability.
• Define IAM architectures, cloud governance guardrails, and security policies aligned with CIS, NIST, and organizational standards.
• Mentor engineering teams on AWS patterns, DevOps practices, and migration execution while partnering with security and product leadership.

Required Skills

• 8+ years in Cloud Architecture, Infrastructure Engineering, or Platform Engineering.
• 5+ years advanced AWS experience across EC2, VPC, IAM, EKS, RDS, Route53, S3, CloudWatch, CloudTrail, and Config.
• Proven leadership in large-scale AWS migrations, including shared-tenant to Dedicated Host transitions.
• Deep hands-on expertise with AWS Dedicated Hosts, tenancy management, and licensing considerations.
• Strong proficiency with Kubernetes, Terraform, and cloud networking fundamentals.
• Experience with Bottlerocket, autoscaling groups, and infrastructure automation.
• Strong understanding of multi-account governance, workload isolation, and security controls.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with service mesh, workload identity, and cluster lifecycle automation.
• Background in performance tuning, capacity planning, and DR/HA availability design.
