Description

You will assess legacy infrastructure, design cloud target architectures, and lead the migration of on-premises workloads to AWS.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct feasibility studies and migration planning for legacy systems including VB.NET, MS Access, and MS SQL Server.
• Design scalable, secure, and cost-optimized AWS target architectures using Infrastructure as Code.
• Define migration strategies (lift-and-shift, re-platform, refactor) and execute phased migrations with minimal downtime.
• Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform, Ansible, and Harness, ensuring consistency across environments.
• Validate migration success through functional, performance, and security testing, and optimize ongoing cloud resource usage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in AWS infrastructure services (EC2, S3, VPC, Route 53, Direct Connect/Express Route).
• Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools: Terraform, AWS CloudFormation, and Ansible.
• Strong scripting skills in PowerShell and experience with CI/CD pipelines (Harness).
• Deep understanding of Git version control and Linux/Windows operating systems.
• Experience with legacy modernization, specifically migrating from on-premises databases and applications.
• Ability to design secure, compliant cloud architectures and manage cross-functional migration efforts.
• Any Graduate degree with relevant professional certification is preferred.
