Description

You will manage and mature cloud operations with a heavy focus on security hardening and risk reduction.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain enterprise cloud governance standards with an emphasis on security fortification.
• Design and implement high availability and disaster recovery solutions.
• Automate administrative tasks using AWS CLI or Terraform.
• Monitor cloud activity, design application migrations, and define compute loads.
• Partner with Security, App Management, and App Engineering to review industry security threats.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud technologies with a focus on AWS and Azure.
• Deep understanding of SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS models.
• Proficiency with AWS Control Tower.
• Hands-on experience with MySQL and PostgreSQL.
• Working knowledge of Python, PowerShell, bash, or Ruby.
• Experience with AWS CLI and Terraform for automation.
• Knowledge of ITSM processes including Change, Incident, Problem, and Configuration Management.
• AWS Solutions Architect certification.
• Ability to drive technical design and validation aligned with business goals.

Preferred Skills

• Experience managing cloud spend and waste reduction.
