Description

You will manage the migration of Oracle and SQL Server databases to AWS RDS. This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute database migrations to AWS RDS using AWS Database Migration Service (DMS) and lift-and-shift methods.
• Implement migration strategies that ensure minimal downtime and strict data integrity.
• Perform database performance tuning, backup, and recovery processes.
• Troubleshoot migration issues and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve blockers.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience with AWS cloud solutions and database migrations.
• Proficiency in Oracle and SQL Server DBA tasks.
• Hands-on experience with AWS DMS and Schema Conversion Tool (SCT).
• Experience provisioning cloud resources using Terraform and CloudFormation.
• Knowledge of Oracle, PostgreSQL, and MySQL database monitoring.
• Strong understanding of database architecture and automation tools.

Preferred Skills

• AWS certification.
• Terraform certification.
