Description

You will own the configuration, operation, and automation of the AWS cloud platform.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure and manage core AWS services including VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53, Backup, EKS, SSO, MSK, Security Hub, and GuardDuty.
• Build and maintain infrastructure using Terraform and automate deployment via GitLab CI/CD pipelines.
• Develop tooling and scripts using Python for infrastructure automation and operational tasks.
• Implement observability using CloudWatch, Grafana, and OpenTelemetry for proactive monitoring.
• Manage container orchestration within EKS and apply Istio for traffic and security management.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of professional experience in cloud or platform engineering.
• Expert proficiency with Terraform for Infrastructure as Code.
• Strong practical experience with core AWS services (VPC, EC2, S3, IAM, Route 53).
• Proficiency in CI/CD implementation using GitLab.
• Hands-on experience with Python for scripting and automation.
• Deep understanding of Kubernetes (EKS) and service mesh concepts (Istio).
• Familiarity with advanced networking concepts, including Transit Gateway and Direct Connect.
• Experience in vulnerability remediation and cloud security tooling.
