Description

Manage, maintain, and optimize AWS cloud infrastructure to ensure reliability, scalability, and security. Own platform engineering, automation, monitoring, and cost optimization for enterprise IT systems.

Responsibilities

• Provision and support application infrastructure in AWS using Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) and GitHub.
• Build and maintain OS Golden Images, manage server storage, and perform hardware/software patching and OS upgrades.
• Configure monitoring and alerting for VMs, containers, databases, and networks using AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or similar tools.
• Automate operational tasks with Python, PowerShell, or Bash and integrate automation with CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement cloud security best practices (IAM, encryption), enforce governance policies, and manage backup/restore processes.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering, or cloud operations.
• Strong expertise in AWS cloud services, networking, load balancing, and firewall configurations.
• Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools, specifically Terraform.
• Proficiency in scripting and automation using Python, PowerShell, or Bash.
• Experience with version control and infrastructure workflows using GitHub.
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipeline integration.
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as AWS CloudWatch, Dynatrace, or enterprise monitoring platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud security principles, including IAM policies, encryption, and compliance standards.
