Description

Lead the design, planning, and execution of the Data Center Exit program, migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Migration Portfolio Assessments and Cloud Adoption Framework reviews across business, governance, security, and operations.
• Design scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud solutions to replace on-prem data center infrastructure.
• Develop target-state architectures, migration blueprints, and reference architectures aligned with AWS best practices.
• Implement cloud governance, compliance, and cost-management practices while ensuring enterprise security standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
• 8+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud architecture experience.
• Proficiency with VPC Design, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation or Terraform.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data center migration or exit programs.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, automation (CI/CD, IaC), and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience with migration tools like CloudEndure or AWS Migration Hub.
• Knowledge of AWS services including ECS, EKS, Lambda, and CloudFront.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
