Description

Lead the design and execution of the Data Center Exit program, migrating on-premises infrastructure to AWS Cloud while supporting pre-sales pursuits.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design scalable, secure, and resilient AWS cloud solutions, including target-state architecture and migration blueprints.
• Lead migration assessments, application dependency mapping, and execution of lift-and-shift or re-architecting strategies.
• Act as a Pre-Sales Solution Architect, supporting sales teams during client pursuits and RFPs.
• Conduct Migration Portfolio and Readiness Assessments across business, security, and operations.
• Define tagging standards, operational guardrails, and security controls meeting enterprise standards.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of experience in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
• 8+ years of hands-on AWS Cloud architecture experience.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data center migration or exit programs.
• Proficiency with VPC design, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Strong understanding of networking, security, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
• Experience with automation, including CI/CD and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional or Associate.
• Familiarity with multi-account strategy and AWS Control Tower.
• Experience in cost optimization and FinOps practices.
