Description

You will design and execute complex cloud migrations to AWS, defining target-state architectures and leading migration waves.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Conduct Migration Portfolio Assessments (MPA) and define application dispositions and migration wave plans.
• Design scalable, secure AWS architectures aligned with the Well-Architected Framework.
• Lead migration execution, overseeing lift-and-shift, re-platforming, or re-architecting strategies.
• Implement cloud governance, compliance, and security controls across the AWS environment.
• Partner with application and operations teams to manage the transition from on-premises to AWS infrastructure.

Required Skills

• 12+ years in infrastructure, cloud, or enterprise architecture.
• 8+ years hands-on AWS Cloud architecture experience.
• Proficiency with VPC design, IAM, EC2, RDS, S3, and CloudFormation/Terraform.
• Proven experience leading large-scale data center migration programs.
• Strong knowledge of networking, security, automation (CI/CD, IaC), and hybrid connectivity.
• Experience with migration tools such as CloudEndure or AWS Migration Hub.
• Familiarity with core AWS services: EC2, ECS, EKS, RDS, Lambda, CloudFront.
• Experience with monitoring tools like CloudWatch and Config.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional certification.
• Familiarity with multi-account strategy and AWS Control Tower.
