Description

Design, monitor, and maintain AWS infrastructure to support strategic IT initiatives.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Monitor, maintain, and configure AWS infrastructure including EC2, VPC, S3, and RDS.
• Build new systems and maintain existing ones while collaborating with DevOps teams.
• Architect backup, restore, and disaster recovery solutions for AWS workloads and databases.
• Configure and remediate cloud security settings to protect environments.
• Automate application deployments and manage software upgrades for tools like Jira, Confluence, and qTest.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of IT experience in web and cloud-based application design and development.
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, EBS, IAM, RDS, and CloudWatch.
• 3+ years of experience configuring CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and AWS CodePipeline.
• Experience designing serverless web applications using AWS Lambda and API Gateway.
• Proficiency in C#, Bash shell scripting, and JavaScript.
• Experience with AWS Data Migration Services and AWS CLI.
• Strong Linux administration skills, specifically with Amazon Linux and CentOS.

Preferred Skills

• AWS Certification.
• Splunk experience for end-to-end monitoring and SIEM.
• Unix Administration experience.
