Description

You will provide operational support and engineering for the public cloud platform, focusing on automation and workload migrations.

Responsibilities

• Plan, design, and implement workload migrations from on-premises environments to AWS.
• Configure, tune, and maintain AWS services including CloudWatch, CloudTrail, GuardDuty, Security Hub, Systems Manager, Network Firewall, WAF, and IAM.
• Manage VPCs across multiple Availability Zones, including WAF, SQL installations, and High Availability Groups.
• Automate infrastructure using CloudFormation and Terraform, managing EC2, FSx, S3, and AMI.
• Implement security hardening to meet NIST, PII, and Pub 1075 compliance requirements using CrowdStrike and Tenable.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud engineering or operations.
• Deep expertise in AWS Cloud services and infrastructure management.
• Proficiency with SQL and database installations.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Hands-on knowledge of networking components including Gateway Load Balancers, Internet Gateways, Routing Tables, and Network ACLs.
• Experience managing backup solutions using AWS native services.
• Ability to maintain technical documentation for storage, backups, and patching.
