Description

Manage AWS account configurations, compliance, and resource optimization while maintaining cloud infrastructure and deploying containerized applications.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain configuration, compliance, and audit programs for AWS accounts.
• Deploy and optimize Amazon EKS clusters using Kubernetes best practices for auto-scaling and high availability.
• Maintain cloud-based servers by patching vulnerabilities and managing backup/restore operations.
• Monitor cost allocations, security compliance, and budgets using AWS Config and CloudTrail.
• Review cloud resource cost drivers across compute, storage, network, and managed services.

Required Skills

• 10 years of Cloud Administration experience.
• Extensive experience with AWS and/or Azure public cloud environments.
• Strong system administration expertise in both Linux and Windows environments.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and managing EKS clusters.
• Proficiency with automation frameworks such as SaltStack, Puppet, Chef, or Ansible.
• Deep technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, including switches, routers, and storage arrays.
• Working knowledge of ITIL principles and processes.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and procedural documentation.
