Description

You will lead the planning, execution, and optimization of application and data migrations to AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop migration strategies and conduct infrastructure assessments to identify risks and requirements.
• Design and deploy AWS architectures, migrating workloads using EC2, S3, RDS, and Lambda.
• Automate deployment and infrastructure tasks using CloudFormation and scripting.
• Optimize post-migration environments for performance, cost efficiency, and security compliance.
• Document migration processes, configurations, and best practices for internal teams.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AWS cloud migration projects and architecture design.
• Hands-on experience with EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, and CloudFormation.
• Proficiency in Python and Bash for automation.
• Experience with Database Migration Service (DMS).
• Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven ability to troubleshoot complex issues in cloud environments.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of hybrid cloud environments and multi-cloud strategies.
• Expertise in data migration and cloud-based database management.
