Description

Lead application and service migrations to AWS while managing cloud infrastructure, performance, and security.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Plan application migrations in collaboration with architecture and development teams.
• Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code using CloudFormation or Terraform to automate resource provisioning.
• Implement monitoring, logging, and tracing solutions using Dynatrace, Splunk, and AWS CloudWatch.
• Configure alerting thresholds and participate in on-call rotations for incident management.
• Optimize AWS resource usage, including EC2, ECS, and RDS, for cost-effectiveness and performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in cloud environments with hands-on expertise in Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Proficiency with Oracle SQL and PostgreSQL.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools like Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing monitoring tools such as Splunk, Dynatrace, or AWS CloudWatch.
• Knowledge of AWS services including EC2, ECS, and RDS.
• Ability to manage AWS costs using Cost Explorer and Cloudability.
• Experience with Spring Boot.

Preferred Skills

• Design and test disaster recovery strategies, including data backup and replication.
• Enforce security best practices through IAM policies, network configurations, and encryption.
