Description

You will act as a hands-on individual contributor managing enterprise-level AWS environments.

Responsibilities

• Build client-specific AMI images for Windows, RHEL, and SUSE.
• Manage configuration management using Chef and implement data retention and backup policies.
• Execute OS patching rollouts and manage access control via Federated roles and AD integration.
• Configure networking components including VPC setup, peering, Direct Connect, and subnets.
• Deploy infrastructure using AWS CloudFormation templates.

Required Skills

• 12+ years of professional experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Ruby, and Shell scripting for automation.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD deployment pipelines.
• Deep OS knowledge of Windows and Linux for troubleshooting.
• Experience with AWS CloudFormation for remote creation and deployment.
• Expertise in cloud monitoring, metrics, and DR strategies.
• Bachelor’s Degree.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to develop automation for compliance reporting, such as SG approvals and OS patching.
