Description

You will design and implement end-to-end AWS data platforms, covering architecture, engineering, visualization, and governance. You will lead data migrations and build Operational Data Stores, Enterprise Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, and Data Marts. You will manage data quality and lineage across the entire data lifecycle. You will estimate project efforts and plan execution timelines. You will liaise between business and IT stakeholders to align technical solutions with requirements.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement end-to-end AWS data platforms.

Required Skills

• 10-15 years of total IT experience.
• 3+ years of expertise in AWS data platform technologies including Glue, EMR, Redshift, and Databricks.
• Proven experience with at least one end-to-end AWS data platform implementation.
• Strong hands-on SQL and Data Warehousing lifecycle knowledge.
• Experience with cloud ETL/ELT tools such as DBT, Glue, EMR, or Matillion.
• Exposure to the Big Data ecosystem and Hadoop.
• Expertise in traditional data warehouse solutions like Oracle, Teradata, or Oracle Exadata.
• Experience working within Agile methodologies.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent graduate education.

Preferred Skills

• Understanding of Data Vault, data mesh, and data fabric architecture patterns.
