Description

You will design and implement data architecture and metadata management strategies within AWS environments.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Configure data.world with connectors including Redshift, AWS Glue, and MSK.
• Harvest metadata from AWS Lake Formation, EMR, S3, Redshift, and Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Extend the data.world metamodel and customize UI configurations, forms, and features.
• Maintain a searchable inventory of data assets to support data consumers.
• Implement data classification, access request processes, IAM, and basic data lineage.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or related roles.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue Catalog and AWS Glue Crawler.
• Proficiency with AWS Lake Formation.
• Experience managing data in EMR, S3, and Redshift.
• Technical knowledge of Aurora PostgreSQL.
• Experience with data classification leveraging AWS Macie and Glue.
• Ability to integrate connectors like ServiceNow and MSK.

Preferred Skills

• Degree in any graduate field.
