Description

You will design and implement scalable, secure, and highly available data architectures on AWS for AMOS applications.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data architectures on AWS using S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Develop and maintain data pipelines to ingest, process, and analyze large volumes of travel bookings data.
• Implement data governance, quality frameworks, and security mechanisms to ensure integrity and compliance with GBT regulations and Infosec standards.
• Optimize data storage, processing solutions, and pipeline performance.
• Develop data models, dictionaries, and catalogs for Amos data while providing technical mentorship to the data engineering team.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture or data engineering.
• Proficiency with AWS S3, Athena, Glue, Kinesis, and EMR.
• Hands-on experience with AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience with Apache Airflow and AWS MWAA.
• Working knowledge of AWS DMS, Lambda, and Aurora.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical data models and solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with travel bookings data processing.
