Description

You will design and own the enterprise data architecture on AWS, integrating Salesforce and Tableau for scalable analytics.

Responsibilities

• Define enterprise data architecture across AWS platforms, ensuring scalability, security, and performance alignment with business strategy.
• Architect and oversee data lake/lakehouse solutions using S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, EMR, Lambda, and Lake Formation.
• Design and implement robust ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data processing with high data quality.
• Integrate Salesforce (Sales/Service Cloud) with AWS data platforms using APIs and connectors.
• Establish Tableau BI architecture standards, including semantic layer design, dashboard governance, and performance optimization.

Required Skills

• 10+ years overall IT experience, with 8+ years in Data Engineering & Analytics.
• 6+ years hands-on AWS data architecture (S3, Glue, Redshift, Athena, Lambda, EMR, Lake Formation, Kinesis, RDS).
• 3+ years integrating Salesforce with external data platforms via APIs and middleware.
• 4+ years hands-on Tableau experience (dashboard development, data modeling, performance tuning).
• 3+ years leading data engineering teams as Technical Architect or Lead.
• 3+ years experience in real-time and batch data processing architectures.
• Strong SQL development and advanced data modeling (Star/Snowflake schemas).
• Proficiency in Python/PySpark for large-scale data processing.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (CloudFormation/Terraform), and DevOps best practices.

Preferred Skills

• Experience migrating legacy/on-prem systems to AWS cloud environments.
• Knowledge of data governance, security frameworks (IAM, encryption), and compliance standards.
