Description

You will design, implement, and manage scalable data solutions for a multi-region data lake and analytics platform supporting the Cyber Analytics Platform.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement secure data solutions focused on streaming and event-driven logging using AWS services.
• Collaborate with architects and engineering teams to develop data ingestion, analytics, and reporting solutions based on logging requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot performance or failure issues within data solutions.
• Manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and implement CI/CD practices for data pipelines.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of proven experience as a DevOps or Data Engineer focusing on data solutions.
• Strong experience in data ingestion, data modeling, data storage, ETL, and reporting, specifically with streaming and event-driven logging.
• Proficiency with AWS services including MSK (Managed Streaming for Apache Kafka), Lambda, EC2, ECS, Glue, S3, and Athena.
• Expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
• Experience implementing CI/CD tools and practices.
• Strong scripting ability in Python or Bash.
• Familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker or Kubernetes.

Preferred Skills

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
