Key Skills: Data Engineer, AWS, AWS Cloud

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Build and support end-to-end large-scale data engineering initiatives in data-driven organizations.
• Design and implement scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Develop applications, data platforms, and pipelines using cloud-native technologies.
• Work with cloud platforms including AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Utilize databases and data warehouse technologies such as Snowflake, Oracle, Starburst Trino, and MSSQL.
• Develop solutions using Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
• Work with AWS services including S3, EC2, EKS, Glue, SageMaker, Athena, and Redshift.
• Follow version control and collaboration practices including Git, code reviews, and CI/CD workflows.
• Use Docker and Kubernetes for containerized deployments and orchestration.
• Build API solutions and microservices-based applications.
• Support LLM-powered solutions including prompt engineering and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) workflows.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to manage priorities and drive outcomes.
• Develop reports and dashboards using visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of experience in data-driven organizations with focus on end-to-end large-scale initiatives.
• 5+ years of hands-on experience building applications, data platforms, and pipelines in cloud-native technologies.
• Strong understanding of Data and Analytics paradigms and technologies.
• Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, and Azure.
• Experience with databases and warehouse technologies including Snowflake, Oracle, Starburst Trino, and MSSQL.
• Proficiency in designing scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses.
• Strong programming skills in Python, Java, Scala, and SQL.
• In-depth knowledge of AWS services including S3, EC2, EKS, Glue, SageMaker, Athena, and Redshift.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD, and code review workflows.
• Hands-on experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Understanding of API solutions and microservices architecture.
• Understanding of LLM-powered solutions, prompt engineering, and RAG workflows.
• Strong communication, negotiation, influencing, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong decision-making, leadership, and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau.

Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science or related technical field
