Description

You will design and optimize data architectures within the AWS cloud environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AWS data pipelines for large-scale data ingestion and transformation.
• Build and optimize Data Lake architectures using S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Develop and maintain Redshift data warehouses, handling schema design and performance tuning.
• Integrate data from various sources into Aurora and support downstream applications.
• Ensure data quality, governance, and security across the data platform.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience as a Data Engineer, with 7+ years specifically on AWS.
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS S3, Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, Redshift, Aurora, IAM, CloudWatch, and KMS.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience building CI/CD pipelines for data workflows (e.g., CodePipeline, GitHub Actions).
• Strong understanding of data modeling, data warehousing, and streaming concepts.
• Familiarity with networking basics.
