Description

You will build and manage data pipelines and backend services within an AWS environment.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain data manipulation processes using Python and AWS cloud services.
• Design and implement database schemas across Snowflake, PostgreSQL, and MongoDB.
• Build and integrate REST APIs to support data workflows.
• Write unit tests using pyTest to ensure code quality and application stability.
• Manage development workflows by creating stories, tasks, and test cases in JIRA.

Required Skills

• 8-10 years of professional experience in data engineering or software development.
• Proficiency with AWS Core Services.
• Strong Python programming skills including experience with pandas and data profiling libraries.
• Experience with Python frameworks such as Django or Flask.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake.
• Database design and development expertise in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
• Experience developing and consuming REST APIs.
• Proficiency in agile software engineering practices.
• Experience with unit testing and pyTest.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working within an agile environment using JIRA for task management.
