Description

You will build and maintain data and analytics applications within an AWS environment.

Responsibilities

• Develop applications using AWS data and analytics technologies including Glue, EMR, Lambda, and Step Functions.
• Integrate open-source components into data-analytic solutions.
• Collaborate with technical development and Agile teams to test and support full-stack solutions.
• Improve software engineering practices and continuous integration/deployment workflows.
• Work with vendors to enhance tool capabilities for enterprise requirements.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of total professional experience with 5+ years of hands-on AWS experience.
• Proficiency in Python, Scala, and Spark.
• Deep knowledge of AWS services: Glue, EMR, Lambda, Step Functions, CloudTrail, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, S3, VPC, EC2, RDS, and IAM.
• 5-7 years of experience delivering and operating large-scale distributed systems.
• Experience with ETL and data application development.
• Proficiency with Git and version control systems.
• Knowledge of application development lifecycles and CI/CD practices.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Snowflake MPP.
• Experience with graph databases.
