Description

Lead data engineering efforts focusing on streaming architectures and ETL maintenance.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Manage, administer, and maintain data streaming tools including Kafka, Confluent, and Flink.
• Own the administration, configuration, and maintenance of Snowflake and DBT.
• Monitor batch jobs and perform bug fixing for ETL processes.
• Debug complex issues and perform root cause analysis to apply permanent fixes.
• Provide software support for applications written in Python and SQL.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of relevant technical experience.
• 8+ years of experience working with AWS.
• 2+ years in a leadership or management role.
• Hands-on expertise with Kafka and Confluent.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and Git.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub.
• Practical knowledge of Snowflake and DBT.
• Experience with DynamoDB and ETL process management.
• Familiarity with Kafka Connect, Confluent Schema Registry, Apache Airflow, and Apache Iceberg.

Preferred Skills

• Apache Kafka Administration certification.
• Snowflake Fundamentals or Advanced training.
