Description

Design and implement serverless data solutions and high-performance pipelines within an Agile environment.

Responsibilities

• Build and optimize end-to-end data pipelines covering ingestion, mastering, management, and distribution of large datasets.
• Implement AWS serverless solutions following the Amazon Well-Architected Framework.
• Develop and maintain data management logic using Python and AWS components.
• Integrate infrastructure as code and CI/CD processes into the development lifecycle.

Required Skills

• 7+ years of experience in AWS and Python development within the Financial Services and Data domains.
• Deep expertise in AWS services including Glue, Lambda, Step Functions, RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora Postgres, SQS, API Gateway, and Athena.
• Proficiency in Python 3 and Python data management/manipulation libraries.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and management.
• Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
• Practical knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with container technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Financial Services expertise, specifically with Equity and Fixed Income asset classes and Indices.
