Description

You will design and develop data pipelines and storage solutions within AWS GovCloud environments. You will own the end-to-end data engineering lifecycle, from migration to streaming processing.

Responsibilities

• Build and manage data pipelines using AWS services including Aurora, DynamoDB, RedShift, S3, Glue, and Lambda.
• Execute data migrations for large-scale programs from legacy systems like Oracle and DB2.
• Implement ETL/ELT frameworks and streaming data processing workflows.
• Troubleshoot data issues and support testing teams with data validation.
• Partner with DevSecOps and external partners to release software following established documentation and controls.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Hands-on experience with AWS technologies and services.
• Proficiency in migrating data from Oracle and DB2.
• Experience with data mapping and ETL/ELT frameworks.
• Knowledge of streaming data processing.
• Strong understanding of database management best practices.
• Experience working within Agile development methodologies and the SDLC.
• Background in designing data storage using cloud technologies.

Preferred Skills

• Experience working specifically within AWS GovCloud.
