Description

Design, implement, and test scalable data solutions on AWS using Python and multi-tier architectures.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement Python applications using object-oriented and multi-threaded programming principles.
• Build data solutions leveraging AWS Glue, EMR, and Spark.
• Implement metadata solutions using non-relational data stores like DynamoDB and ElastiCache.
• Develop and manage cloud infrastructure using CloudFormation and AWS IAM.

Required Skills

• Extensive programming experience with Python.
• Hands-on experience with AWS Glue and EMR/Spark.
• Proficiency with AWS Lambda and Step Functions.
• Experience managing data in S3, RDS, and DynamoDB.
• Working knowledge of AWS CloudFormation, IAM, KMS, and Secrets Manager.
• Experience with AWS AppSync and EventBridge.
• Understanding of multi-tier architecture and parallel programming.

Preferred Skills

• Java or Scala programming experience.
• AWS Solutions Architect or AWS Big Data Certification.
