Description

Build and maintain scalable data pipelines on AWS using Java or Python.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement data ingestion, transformation, and processing workflows.
• Develop production-ready code in Java or Python for distributed data processing.
• Utilize Apache Spark for large-scale data handling.
• Implement logging, monitoring, and performance optimization strategies.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support analytics and operational needs.

Required Skills

• 7–10 years of professional software engineering experience.
• 3+ years of hands-on coding in Java or Python.
• 3+ years of experience with AWS services, including S3, Lambda, and Glue.
• Proven experience building end-to-end data pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with Apache Spark.
• Experience with production support, logging, and monitoring.
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Familiarity with Informatica, Snowflake, or other ETL tools.
• Background in large-scale industrial data environments.
