Description

You will own the design, development, and deployment of data solutions on AWS.

This role is hybrid.

Responsibilities

• Determine new features and user stories in complex development projects alongside product owners.
• Lead projects end-to-end, acting as a technical lead or architect.
• Create and update technical documentation, including architecture diagrams and implementation guides.
• Participate in code reviews to ensure increments align with user stories and architectural patterns.
• Respond to production support calls to quickly repair and maintain application uptime.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• 3+ years experience with Python, SQL, Spark, and Amazon EMR.
• 3+ years experience building and deploying applications in AWS (S3, Lambda, Glue, Redshift, RDS, CloudWatch, SNS, SQS, Kinesis).
• Experience processing large volumes of structured and unstructured data.
• Proficiency in unit testing and coding in Python or Java.
• Experience with CI/CD, including Git and Bitbucket.
• Skilled in AWS Compute (EC2, Lambda, ECS, EMR) and strong SQL.
• Familiarity with AWS Database products (RDS, Redshift, Aurora) and management suites (CloudTrail, CloudWatch).

Preferred Skills

• Experience acting as a technical lead or architect.
