Description

You will design, build, and maintain data pipelines and architectures within the AWS ecosystem, ensuring data quality and governance from ingestion to visualization.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement scalable data pipelines to ingest and transform data into Amazon Redshift.
• Write Python and Spark scripts to extract, wrangle, and model data files for downstream analytics.
• Create Redshift views and manage data governance to support Tableau and other BI tools.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define requirements, validate data models, and implement AWS best practices.
• Provision and deploy data services using AWS infrastructure components.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of hands-on SQL experience.
• Deep expertise with Amazon Redshift, including performance tuning and optimization.
• Proficiency in AWS services: EC2, S3, Lambda, Glue, Data Pipeline, Firehose, Athena, and Kinesis.
• Senior-level proficiency in Python and/or Spark for data engineering tasks.
• Experience with data architecture, data governance, data quality, and data security principles.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Preferred Skills

• Knowledge of Docker, SNS, and CloudWatch for containerization and monitoring.
• Experience with BI technologies such as Tableau, OBIEE, QlikView, or Microsoft BI.
