Description

You will design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and analytics platforms using AWS cloud technologies. Your work enables data-driven decision making across large-scale batch and streaming workloads.

Responsibilities

• Translate business requirements into technical solutions for ingestion, transformation, and processing of large datasets.
• Develop and optimize ETL/ELT workflows using cloud-native data engineering tools.
• Write efficient SQL queries and support data warehousing solutions for analytical workloads.
• Build reusable, scalable programs using Python, Unix shell scripting, or Java.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on end-to-end solution design and support testing and defect resolution.

Required Skills

• 6+ years of experience in data engineering.
• Strong proficiency in SQL and hands-on experience with Python and/or Unix shell scripting.
• Proven experience building and maintaining ETL/ELT pipelines.
• Deep familiarity with AWS data services: Athena, EMR, Redshift, S3, Glue, Kinesis, and Lambda.
• Experience with distributed data processing and large-scale datasets.
• Understanding of data warehousing concepts and ability to design datasets for reporting and dashboards.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
