Description

You will build and maintain data pipelines within an AWS environment.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain ETL processes using AWS Glue for data extraction, transformation, and loading.
• Collaborate with Data Scientists, Analysts, and Software Engineers to translate data requirements into technical solutions.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data pipelines to resolve performance bottlenecks and data quality issues.
• Implement data security measures and access controls following industry best practices.
• Optimize data architecture and pipeline performance.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Engineer.
• Hands-on expertise designing and building complex ETL pipelines with AWS Glue.
• Proficiency in Python, Java, or similar programming languages.
• Strong SQL skills and experience with database design principles.
• Deep understanding of AWS services including S3, Redshift, and Lambda.
• Experience with PySpark, Terraform, and CI/CD.
• Familiarity with Airflow, Kafka, and Snowflake.
• Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and methodologies.
• Degree in any graduate field.
