Description

You will lead the design, development, and maintenance of scalable data engineering solutions on AWS.

This role is remote.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable data pipelines using AWS services including MWAA, Glue, Redshift, S3, and Lambda.
• Implement and manage ETL processes to ensure accurate and efficient data processing and storage.
• Integrate data from various sources, ensuring data quality and consistency across systems.
• Develop and maintain data models that support analytics and reporting needs.
• Lead data engineering projects, providing technical direction and mentoring junior engineers.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of experience in data engineering with a focus on AWS data services.
• Proficiency in SQL, Python, and ETL tools.
• Expertise with AWS services: Glue, Redshift, S3, Lambda, MWAA.
• Experience with virtualization technologies such as EC2, EKS, ECS, ECR, and Fargate.
• Experience with big data technologies such as Hadoop or Spark.
• Domain knowledge in Life Science Pharma and Commercial Operations.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Preferred Skills

• 14+ years of total working experience in data engineering.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring engineers.
