You will manage security, access control, and governance for AWS data lake environments.

This role is on-site.

Responsibilities

• Configure AWS Lake Formation to establish secure, scalable data lakes and enforce data governance policies.
• Implement IAM solutions using role-based access control (RBAC) and least privilege principles.
• Develop automated access control mechanisms and tooling for user lifecycle management, including onboarding and offboarding.
• Execute identity governance practices through regular access reviews, validation, and auditing.
• Perform security assessments of existing AWS data lake environments and provide actionable recommendations.

Required Skills

• 5+ years of experience with AWS services.
• At least 2 years of hands-on experience with AWS Lake Formation.
• Deep understanding of Lake Formation resource links, cross-account permissions, and data mesh architecture.
• Strong command of IAM, KMS, S3 bucket policies, and VPC security controls.
• Proficiency with Terraform, CloudFormation, and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and data cataloging, classification, encryption, and auditing.
• Knowledge of data classification and tagging strategies within Lake Formation.

Preferred Skills

• Ability to document all configurations, security protocols, and processes for internal use and compliance audits.
