Description

You will design and implement data solutions on AWS, focusing on search and ingestion architectures.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implement scalable solutions on the AWS data processing stack.
• Engineer search solutions using Elasticsearch on AWS.
• Collaborate with business and IT teams to define and capture search requirements.
• Build and consume REST APIs within a microservices architecture.
• Develop high-performance, multi-threaded software for data ingestion.

Required Skills

• 10+ years of software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with AWS services including EC2, S3, Lambda, DynamoDB, RDS, SQS, SNS, Kinesis, Kinesis Firehose, and API Gateway.
• Strong development skills in Java and Python.
• Deep understanding of Microservices architecture, specifically for data ingestion.
• Proficiency in SQL and experience with ETL architecture and tools.
• Experience building and consuming REST APIs.
• Experience writing multi-threaded, high-performance software.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science.

Preferred Skills

• NoSQL database experience.
• React experience.
